Dear, Experts!
Help find the following explanation of the effect.
In an experiment to determine the permittivity of the solution used coaxial probes. Calculation of the effective dielectric constant is the definition of the frequency difference between the two resonance minima. I thought that the permittivity of the solution NaCl + water is less than the dielectric constant of water. However, the frequency response when measuring solution NaCl + water is shifted toward lower frequencies, although signal amplitude, as expected decreased (an increase of dielectric constant from the previous experiments, such as ethanol, expected response shifted to higher frequencies).
All thanks in advance!
