Light laptops with lots of battery for 2017 Back-to-School
Going to class every day with a laptop makes it important to look for a light laptop with a battery that lasts long. Luckily, the last couple of years big laptop manufacturers have offered light devices with more and more benefits.
An example of this is the Dell XPS 13 9360. With only 1,23 kg, it has an energy-efficient Intel Core i5-7200U and a battery that lasts up to 10 hours.
Within the convertibles segment we find the LG Gram 14Z970 that weighs only 980 grams. It has an Intel Core i5-7200U and a battery that can easily last more than 10 hours.
If what we want is a light laptop, even though it has a reduced performance (only for taking notes and light consume of contents) we have the HP Stream 14-ax003ns with an Intel Celeron N3060, a weight of 1,44kg and a very affordable price.
Finally, we have the Lenovo THINKPAD T470 starting at 1,6 kg with a battery duration of up to 13 hours.
Powerful gaming laptops for 2017 Back-to-School
If you are one of those people that use the “I need this laptop for school” excuse, but you’re actually going to play, we have found three different models for you to choose.
The first one is the HP Pavilion Power 15-cb032ns. For 1070 USD is one of the cheapest laptops with a GTX 1050 and 2 GB of VRAM, with the same performance than its homonymous for desktop computers. Moreover, it has an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and 8 GB of RAM and all of this weighing only 2,21kg. If you want the model with 16 GB of RAM, a 128 GB SSD and a 4GB GTX 1050, we have the HP OMEN 15-ce016ns (or we have the same features but with an i5-7300HQ for 120 USD less).
